What does your pet insurance cover?

  • The cost of veterinary expenses for the veterinary treatment that your pet has received to treat injuries from accidents or derived from any illness. Including congenital and hereditary illnesses.
  • We will pay you for any medicines legally prescribed by a veterinarian, WHENEVER THEY ARE NECESSARY to treat injuries due to accidents and illnesses suffered by your dog.
  • When referred and endorsed by your vet, this policy also covers the cost of physiotherapy to treat injuries and illnesses and the treatment of a behavioural illness.
  • We will pay for any examination, consultation, counselling, test, x-ray, diagnostic procedure, surgery and nursing that your dog needs and that are performed by a veterinarian, a veterinary nurse or another member of the veterinary clinic/practice under the supervision of a veterinarian, ALWAYS WHEN THEY ARE NECESSARY to treat injuries by accidents and illnesses suffered by your dog.
  • The cost of any treatment for a pre-existing condition: the ones that your dog ALREADY HAD before hiring the insurance.
  • The cost of any treatment for an illness which starts within the first 30 days of coverage or for an injury which happens in the first 15 days of coverage.
  • The cost of any treatment to prevent injury or illness, like vaccination, deworming, flea control or any health improvers.
  • The cost of any treatment in connection with breeding, pregnancy and giving birth. Sterilization or castration.
  • The cost of any treatment your pet receives for more than 12 months after the date of the injury happened, or the illness first showed clinical signs.
  • Compensation for the death of your dog.
  • Compensation for the theft of your dog.
  • Reimbursement of expenses for stay in animal residency if you are hospitalized.
  • Reimbursement of expenses for advertising in case your dog gets lost.
  • Reimbursement of expenses that Will arise if they must sacrifice your dog.
