Origin and history of the Norfolk Terrier
A close cousin of the Norwich Terrier, it arose in East Anglia (England) as a ratter and became popular around 1880 among Cambridge students. Norwich and Norfolk were considered one breed until 1979, when they were split by ear carriage: dropped in the Norfolk. It works well in a pack.
