The Jura Hound, or Bruno du Jura, is a scenthound from the Jura Mountains on the French–Swiss border. It was developed in the Middle Ages to hunt in the region’s rugged terrain and is thought to descend from the ancient St Hubert Hound. It has an exceptional nose and great stamina, along with a friendly nature that is strongly attached to its family.
