How individual cremation works with Golden Flame
A private, dignified and personal process, with care in every detail.
- First contact: you give your name, your pet’s name and weight, a phone number and the address to arrange collection.
- Collection: your pet is respectfully taken from your home or vet clinic to the crematorium.
- Individual cremation: in an eco-friendly, automated and supervised cremator, so the ashes are your pet’s alone.
- Farewell: if you wish, you can say goodbye in a welcoming farewell room (by prior arrangement).
- Delivery: you receive the urn with their ashes and the cremation certificate.

What do I do if my pet passes away?

When can I start using the cremation service?
There is a 1-month waiting period: the service can be used once the first month from the contract start date has passed.
How long does the contract last?
Both the liability insurance and the cremation contract run for 12 months.
Where is it available?
For now, in the Community of Madrid and in Castilla-La Mancha (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo).
How do I receive the ashes?
Urn delivery is agreed with the family: at the crematorium, at your vet clinic, by courier or at your home. You also receive the cremation certificate.
What happens to the cremation cover from the seventh year?
From the seventh year of payment of the cremation contract, you pay no further cremation fees even if your pet lives longer, and your cremation cover continues. The liability insurance renews each year.
What does the liability insurance cover?
Damage your pet causes to third parties, up to €300,000 per year, including court costs, legal and criminal defence, and bail bonds. A €200 excess applies per claim. It also includes a 24/7 veterinary helpline.
